dnsDoSTester :: dns server DOS test utility

dnsdostester, Ultra fast winpcap based DNS Server query utility.
You can send random A (host address) queries to a specified DNS Server.
Source IP address spoofable, so requests sent to server totally anonymous.

1 frame's size = 74 bytes. You can send 221 packets per second with 128 Kbit/sec upload speed. (128/8*1024 / 74 = 221.4)
Winsock not required, because a DNS Request packet creating on buffer and sending directly to the network, So you don't need raw sockets etc.

 

1. Sample Ethereal dump (Source IP Address Spoofed Mode):

  • Sent 15 DNS requests within 0.004449 secs.
  • Spoofing source IP Address. (First packet's IP Address 12.34.60.53, second's 157.150.187.14)
  • Sent totally randomized domain queries (www.vdeths.biz, www.mprpnx.net ...)
  • All checksums calculated correctly, gateway and source MAC Address assigned correctly.
  • Responses sent to back spoofed IP's from DNS Server.
